Order up - Season 3 of The Bear is streaming now exclusively on Disney+

The newest season of FX’s Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning The Bear is now available to view exclusively on Disney+ and you don’t want to miss it.

Season three of FX’s The Bear, which features Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto and Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, is now streaming on Disney+

Season one showed us a heartbroken chef returning home to Chicago after a tragedy, while season two followed his ragtag kitchen team on the road towards building a future in fine dining. In season three of The Bear, which is now streaming exclusively on DisneyPlus.com, we follow Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and the rest of the team as they navigate the challenges of the restaurant business and push themselves harder than ever before.

After season two’s high octane final episode – which involved Carmy suffering a panic attack while locked in a walk in fridge during the rocky first evening at the new iteration of The Bear – we’ve waited since last summer to find out what will happen to our favourite fictional kitchen team. Season three, which will once again also feature Lionel Boyce as Marcus, Abby Elliott as Nat, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina, highlights Carmy’s reinvigorated desire for utter perfection.

Will we find a restaurant on the road to success or will Carmy and the gang fully descend into chaos?

Five reasons you should watch The Bear

In case you’re in need of some convincing about why you should watch this award-winning show, here are five reasons why you should add it to your list.

1. The food

Food is very much at the heart of The Bear and once you watch season three, you’ll walk away with so much food inspiration. From decadent close-ups to sweeping mid-service shots, you can expect to walk away hungry for more - prepare to be just as obsessed with the beef sandwiches as ever, which are now prepared by Ebra (played by Edwin Lee Gibson) and served through The Beef’s pick-up window.

2. The cast

The cast of The Bear is truly incredible. Led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, they genuinely embody the characters, bringing the restaurant to life. You don’t have to take our word for it - the show won 10 Primetime Emmy Awards, five Critic’s Choice Awards, and three Golden Globes this January alone.

Even better, each season includes some stellar cameos, with Will Poulter, Olivia Coleman, and Jamie Lee Curtis amongst those who have already popped up. You can expect to see many more exciting cameos in season three - we counted more than 20 on our first watch.

3. The emotions

Whether you’re into the joyous moments of perfect cooking and friendship, or you’d rather a look into the emotional weight of a tight-knight group struggling under the weight of grief, The Bear will definitely make you feel something. Real and raw, the emotions on display in this show are easy to relate to and understand. One emotional highlight to watch out for this season is episode six - titled ‘Napkins’, it focuses on Liza Colón-Zayas’ Tina and marks Ayo Edebiri’s directorial debut.

4. The city

Chicago is already a very cool city, but The Bear makes it look even more exciting and full of life. With swooping shots of scenery and cameos from other great landmarks, The Bear will definitely make you want to book a trip to the Windy City.

5. The soundtrack

Chock full of brilliant bops, The Bear’s soundtrack is definitely worth a listen. ‘New Noise’ by Refused is probably the song best associated with the show, but you’ll also find the likes of R.E.M., Taylor Swift, Lindsey Buckingham and Otis Redding scattered throughout the series. Each song is used so cleverly and we bet you’ll find some new favourite tunes.
